Fingers crossed for fifth time lucky!

EVO-STIK League Southern Shortwood United and Salisbury must be wondering whether they are destined to ever meet in this season's Southern League Challenge Cup!

The EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West clubs were left frustrated for a fourth week in a row on Tuesday night when the long overdue third round tie at United's Meadowbank was postponed again, this time with a waterlogged pitch.

A frozen surface put paid to the tie last week and the clubs are not taking any chances next time out, agreeing after the postponement to ask the EVO-STIK League Southern to switch the tie to Salisbury's Ray Mac Stadium next Tuesday night (Feb 7).

If confirmed, the postponement will mean Salisbury's Cathedral Derby with Winchester City next week will have to be rearranged. For the latest officially confirmed fixtures and postponements visit the match center via the home page.
