Evo-Stik League South Premier Preview

By Jack Moore

The three-way deadlock at the top of the Evo-Stik League South Premier could be shattered tonight.

Slough Town, first on goal difference, welcome bottom side Gosport Borough to Arbour Park tonight.

Mick Catlin’s side have just one point this season, however that solitary draw did come on the road.

Second place King’s Lynn Town face Bishop’s Stortford at The Walks this evening.

The hosts are unbeaten on their own patch this campaign, failing to win just once, however the visitor’s have had more success on the road than they have at home this season.

Weymouth currently in third take on 18th place Frome Town tonight looking to hold off the charge of Kettering and Hereford below them in the table.

Second bottom St Ives Town travel to face mid-table Biggleswade Town at the Carlsberg Stadium. Ricky Marheineke’s men haven’t won at home this season so their trip to Bedfordshire may be more welcome than it first appears.

Kettering Town are also on the road this evening, they meet a Redditch team just two places below them will be no pushovers.

Hereford will travel to Ladysmead to take on Martyn Rogers’ Tiverton Town. The Bulls are just two points off top spot and know they cannot afford to slip up against Tivvy.

A important match near the bottom of the table this evening, as 21st place Kings Langley play host to a Dunstable Town side just one place below them in the table.

Banbury United welcome Chesham United to the Spencer Stadium, while Merthyr Town are at home against Stratford Town.

Hitchin Town are on the road at St Neots Town, and Royston Town are set to face Farnborough at Garden Walk.
