Northwood striker joins Wealdstone

Kouassi Joins The Stones

Evo-Stik League South, East side Northwood striker Evans Kouassi has joined Vanarama National League South club Wealdstone.

Evans is a pacey attacking player, who was born in the Ivory Coast and joined the Woods from Bishop’s Stortford.

The 28-year-old came through the Leyton Orient youth system, and after a brief spell at Waltham Forest signed for Peterborough United.

Following his release from the Posh he had a trial at AFC Wimbledon before having two spells at both Potters Bar Town and Billericay Town as well as playing for Aveley, Enfield Town, Hayes & Yeading United, Tilbury, Cypriot side Ermis Aradippou, Chelmsford City, Concord Rangers, Kingstonian and Bishop`s Stortford.

Tuesdays Evo-Stik South, West Review Taunton Town moved thirteen points clear at the top of the Evo-Stik League South, West table on Tuesday night after they beat Cinderford Town at the Viridor Stadium.
