Eight survivors are up for the cup!

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK League Southern's eight surviving flag-bearers in the Emirates FA Cup are looking ahead to reaching the first round proper after Monday lunchtime's draw for the final qualifying round.

And apart from Chesham United versus Potters Bar Town who are going again this week in a replay after drawing at the weekend, the league's six other representatives are all through to fourth and final qualifying round over the weekend of Saturday 15 October.

Held at Wembley and broadcast live on TALKSport following the weekend's third round qualifying matches, a total of 32 ties were drawn at the national stadium after the 24 clubs in the National League entered the competition and went into the hat.

As well collecting £7,500 as third qualifying round winners, clubs who make it through to the first round proper on Saturday 5 November will bank another £12,500 in prize money as fourth qualifying round victors.
