Eddie Wakley has joined Gosport from Whitehawk

Centre Back signs
Former Portsmouth Academy player Eddie Wakley has joined Gosport from Whitehawk.
Centre-back Wakley spent six years at Portsmouth, captaining the Academy side before being released from Fratton Park in April.
Described by Portsmouth's Under 18s manager Mickey Harris as "one of those players who always seems to get on the end of things - in both boxes", he picked up the Academy Player of the Season award for 2016/17.
Wakley is expected to go straight into Mick Catlin's team for tomorrow night's Evo- Stick South Premier Division match at Slough Town.
