Draw made for cup's next round!

By David Watters

The EVO-STIK League Southern's surviving flag-bearers in The Emirates FA Cup have started running the rule over their next opponents after the draw was made for the next round.

Following Monday's lunchtime draw at Wembley for the Cup's Second Qualifying Round, the winners of the weekend's ties plus those going again in replays this week now know who they'll be facing.

After collecting £3000 as First Qualifying Round winners, the 80 ties scheduled take place over the weekend of Saturday 17 September with the victors banking another £4500 in FA prize money.

While a number of clubs must still negotiate tricky replays in the world's oldest cup competition, the stand-out ties among those already through include Salisbury hosting National League North Gloucester City, Chippenham Town hosting National League South Poole Town and Cambridge City at home to Slough Town in an all EVO-STIK League Southern affair.

Elsewhere, King's Lynn Town host Ryman League Harlow Town, Hitchin Town are away at Ryman League Faversham while Biggleswade Town travel to Margate
