Puritans commercial director Mark Allitt was all smiles this week with representatives from Castle Cars and Humphris Funerals after both local businesses signed up for the club's corporate sponsorship package at The Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium.
Designed to give businesses and organisations a profile throughout the club, Red & Gold membership comes with a range of benefits including a programme advert, a perimeter advertising board, a match sponsorship, season tickets, free hire of the clubhouse and the logos of members displayed on the home page of the club’s official website.
Allitt, pictured above left with Castle Cars owner Yasser Hanif, said: “I’m very pleased to have the support of Castle Cars and their owner Yasser Hanif who has decided to upgrade his company’s sponsorship and join the Red and Gold Business Club.
"They’re the closest taxi firm to our ground and we hope our fans will use them whenever possible. Yasser has taken a strong interest in what we’re doing at the club and I would like to thank him for supporting us.”
Hanif said: “I’m delighted to be supporting Banbury United at this very exciting time for the club. I’m a very keen football fan and this is a community project that we want to support and give our backing to.”
Allitt was also delighted to see long-term supporters Humphris Funerals step up their involvement with the fan-run EVO-STIK League Southern Premier Division's Puritans.
Pictured with Humphris Funerals director Martin Humphris, he said: “Humphris Funerals have a very long association with Banbury United and have sponsored the club’s physio for the past 47 seasons! I’m delighted that the firm have now decided to join our Red and Gold Business Club to support us even further.”
Humphris added: “We have been supporters of the club for many years and I’ve personally tried to get to as many games as I can since I started supporting the club in the early 1970s.
"We have been delighted to see the fans take ownership of the club and watch it prosper over the past two seasons. We now look forward to seeing United build on last season’s solid finish in the Southern League Premier.”
