The relegated Robins - heading for the Western League next season following the final day of the EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West last weekend - named the duo on Thursday as their new joint management team at Fairfax Park and the men to lead them back up.
Former Odd Down, Street, Welton Rovers, Bideford, Tiverton Town and Barnstaple Town star Pearse had been in interim charge since the departure of Phil Hucker, having joined as a player earlier in the season.
Baggaley, who's played or Weston-super-Mare, Backwell Utd, Torrington, Ilfracombe and Street was appointed as joint manager after filling a similar role at Barnstaple where he helped Barry Yeo win back-to-back promotions from the Western League First Division to the EVO-STIK League Southern before securing their status this season.
The Somerset club confirmed the double appointment in a statement on their website. "Since being handed the ‘interim’ manager role, Dave has worked hard to improve both team morale and style of play with some success," said the Robins.
"We believe that the duo have the required experience, knowledge and contacts to make us successful in our attempt to establish the club as a force both on and off the pitch and bring further stability to Bridgwater Town FC.
"Likewise, both Karl and Dave are excited by the challenge of working with the club, players, sponsors and fans to ultimately gain promotion from the Western League once more."
