Cup fever at Plain Ham!

FA Trophy

he Larks have a chance to make club history tomorrow when they entertain Southern Premier opponents Farnborough in the FA Trophy.

This is the first time we have got past the initial round of this competition and a win tomorrow will put us in the hat for the next round, which will feature clubs from the National League.

There is no question that Farnborough will be tough opponents, of course. They were playing in the same league as Bath City only last season, and their squad includes veteran ex-Reading, QPR and Bristol Rovers striker Jamie Cureton.

Their recent form is a bit patchy, like the Larks', but with prize money as well as a place in the second qualifying round on offer they'll doubtless give the tie everything they've got.
