Champions Hereford FC took their points tally up to 110 and their goals for to 109 with a comfortable 3-0 win at Top Field against mid-table Hitchin Town on Wednesday night.

A 32nd minute header from Pablo Haysham saw the Bulls to into half-time in front.

And just 5 minutes after the restart, Lance Smith doubled the visitors` advantage and in the 88th minute Jennison Myrie-Williams rounded off the scoring with the champions` third.

Although there was little riding on the other Wednesday game at The Special Effect Stadium between mid-table Frome Town and a Banbury United side who are looking to finish in the top eight, the game saw two red cards and two late goals.

There was little in the game which suddenly burst into life in the 82nd minute when Frome`s Ryan Bath received a second yellow card after a foul on Luke Carnell.

And the Puritans immediately made the home side pay when, from the resultant free-kick from Jack Harding, Charlie Wise fired home from six yards to break the deadlock.

The home side then had Sam Teale dismissed for arguing with the referee, meaning Frome now had to play the final 8 minutes with just nine-men.

And 4 minutes from time, Banbury sealed the win when a Tom Winters corner was headed home from close range at the far post by Carnell.
