Cash committed to ground-grading

EVO-STIK League Southern Kidlington have announced plans for a £22,000 renovation of their Yarnton Road home.

Last season's Hellenic League champions have confirmed that contracts are in place to start on a range of stadium improvements to meet the March 31 deadline to pass Football Association and EVO-STIK League Southern ground-grading standards to play at Step 4 of the National League System.

The self-funded works - announced on Friday before Julian McCalmon's side beat Uxbridge 4-2 at home in EVO-STIK League Southern Division One Central on Saturday - include installing a new covered terrace stand for 100 spectators and plans to in-fill the pitch perimeter fence as well as a number of other minor requirements.
