Canaries lift the BFB Challenge Cup

By David Simpson

Made to work for it !

A crowd of over 400 watched a 'cup tie' played at pace

An early goal by Conner Vincent secured the tropht for the Canaries, but they were made to work hard to keep the lead.

A game of two halves, with the Canaries showing nice passing movements creating chances.

Didcot had other ideas after the break and took the game to Hitchin, with some impressive link play cutting down the Canaries.

A chance in the dying minutes could have provided the equaliser Didcot deserved, but not to be !

So the Canaries lifted the valuable Trophy , but both Clubs picked up sizeable Sponsorships for their part in the 'battle at Top Field '
