The Bulls, who were presented with their Division One South & West trophy by EVO-STIK League Southern vice-president John Croft after beating Winchester City 4-0 at their home in front of a whopping 4,125 spectators, were hailed afterwards by manager Peter Beadle for finishing the season with a flourish ahead of the one-off EVO-STIK League Southern championship play-off with the Crows this Saturday.
To mark winning back-to-back promotions the champions even laid on a fans zone at Edgar Street for supporters which opened three hours before their final win of the season. Top scorer John Mills from the spot after eight minutes, Jamie Edge on the half-hour mark, Jamie Oates on the hour-mark and Brad Williams seven minutes from time, scored before the celebrations continued at the final whistle.
The Bulls boss - who saw the champions keep alive the Edgar Street tradition of parading a Hereford Bull on the pitch before the 3pm kick-off, told Radio Hereford FC: "It was great to end the league season in style. We showed our class and passion today."
