Hereford FC has today confirmed that a male supporter has been banned from attending matches at Edgar Street for 12 months.
The ban relates to incidents with supporters releasing smoke bombs during the match against Farnborough on 3rd February 2018.
The individual has been contacted in writing and notified of the reasons for the decision. As investigations by the police continue, officers are also planning on speaking to a number of other supporters who are believed to have been involved in the incident.
Hereford FC regret having to issue this banning order, however bringing pyrotechnics to any Hereford FC fixture is totally unacceptable and the club will act in a similar way for any future incidents.
Finally, the club would like to thank supporters for their help and assistance in identifying those involved in these incidents.
