Mills Injury Not Serious
By Organic Bull

Hereford striker John Mills has been told that the injury to his knee is not serious and it can be managed for the rest of the season.

“We’ve received good news from the results of the scan," manager Peter Beadle told the OS.

"The scan shows that there is no serious damage to the knee. There is a very small nick in the cartilage behind the patella.

“The recommendation from the Consultants is for us to manage the injury throughout the season, if it becomes uncomfortable for John then we will have to play it by ear.

“John really suffered vs Bishop’s Stortford so he’ll need a short time on the side lines. He’ll have a rest this weekend and then we’ll monitor him as we go.

“It’s the best news that we could have hoped for. The knee is in good shape, a very small tear, but the consultants are happy, and we’re looking forward to getting John available as soon as possible.”
