Stokes land a new kit sponsor...

Basingstoke Town FC and Original Software are delighted to announce their sponsorship of the First Team for the 2017/18 season. Original Software are headquartered in Basingstoke so this was a great opportunity to support their local football club at this exciting time in our history, as we complete the transition to a community owned club.

The club compete at the seventh tier of English football with a dynamic squad under the leadership of their manager, Terry Brown. Terry has an impressive track record and previously took Wimbledon AFC to the Football League 2nd Division.

Off the pitch the current owner of the club wants to step back from his involvement and he is supporting the club as it makes its move to community ownership. The new ownership structure not only allows the supporters to own the club but equally places a duty on the club to provide community services through its facilities and expertise. This change will also see the club move from the ground which has been their home for over seventy years to a more modern facility, which can also support the training of the various teams.

The deal will see Original Software’s branding adorning the rear of the First Team shirts, as well as a number of advertising hoardings around the ground and the brand being promoted across the club’s digital footprint. Original Software look forward to sharing periodic updates with its customers across the globe as the season continues.
