At the third attempt Tiverton prevail

Points go back to Devon

Oddly over the 90 minutes it was probably Banbury's best performance against Tiverton in the four games between the sides this season but at the end of the day the visitor's take the points back to Devon - that's football for you!

Banbury looked relatively comfortable after this but "out of the blue" Tiverton equalised on 73 minutes when Levi Landricombe's shot from 30 yards sailed over Jack Harding's head and though the Banbury custodian managed to get a hand to the ball he couldn't stop it from hitting the back of the net.

Tiverton then went ahead in the 82nd minute when a free-kick by Ollie Knowles from wide on the left was headed home at the near post six yards out by Owen Howe.

Banbury pushed forward in search of an equaliser but TIverton held out to earn the three points

Where next?
