Young Canary steps up

Hitchin Town Football Club have today signed youth team striker Desejado Da Silva on 1st team registration forms.

Desejado (also known as Dessie) has impressed Canaries boss Mark Burke during the youth team's run in this year's FA Youth Cup in which he scored a hat trick against Hoddesdon and a further 2 goals against Dagenham last night as the youth team valiantly bowed out in the 1st round proper losing 6-4 to their professional counterparts.

Dessie is part of the college scheme operating at the Arena having arrived from the QPR Foundation scheme.
