Wright Move For Banbury

Evo-Stik League South Premier club Banbury United have signed 20-year-old former Nottingham Forest academy winger Anthony Wright.

Wright played in California as a youngster for Nomads SC and San Diego Surf before joining the Nottingham Forest academy in 2015.

At Forest he played for their under-18 and under-23 sides.

Wright was born in the USA but has British Nationality with his father Paul being born in this country but carving out a long career as a striker in the US professional soccer leagues.

He made his Puritans` debut by coming off the bench in Saturday`s 4-1 win over Farnborough.
