Wednesday's South & West action review

By David Watters

AFC Totton are still not mathematically certain of their holding on to their place in the EVO-STIK League Southern losing 2-0 Slimbridge, the team who started Wednesday night below them in the table, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

It would need a Wantage Town side who have achieved only 18 points all season to win all of five of their remaining matches in EVO-STIK League Division One South & West but the Stags still need a point to make sure.

Slimbridge won the game with a two-goal burst in two minutes midway through the first half, Jack Twyman and Adam Mace finding the net to collect the points they needed to leap-frog the Stags into 19th spot and mathematically assure themselves of Southern League survival.
