Waders away a tough encounter

By David Simpson

Ready to battle

King’s Lynn Town are back in action on Tuesday evening when they visit Biggleswade Town in the Southern Premier Division (7:45).

Town collected another valuable point on the road at the weekend following a 0-0 result at Kings Langley and will be looking to continue their recent unbeaten run at the Waders.

However the hosts have a good home league record to date having secured five wins to date. The Linnets will be looking for another double of the season as goals from Craig Parker, Ryan Hawkins and Ryan Jarvis saw them win by a 3-0 margin earlier in the season.

Ian Culverhouse says he is expecting another tough encounter. ‘ It really will be another tough one for us’ confirmed Culverhouse.

“They are going very well at home and gave us a really good examination in the home game earlier in the season, We battled very hard on Saturday at Kings Langley in what was a physical game so it’s all about recovery, preparation and channelling your thoughts into the next game.

“We have a lot of games coming up but we are no different to the other teams. It is a big league with several Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday scenarios, But as I have said before it will be about us, how we play and how we do our business.

“We do need to become more clinical in games when we have the upper hand to make life a bit more comfortable for ourselves but I’m sure that will happen. I would be more concerned were we not making those chances’.
