This was a massive win for Boro', as it increased the gap from the relegation zone to six points, at time of writing. Danny Buckle made amends for missing an earlier chance, with a headed goal. The Police equalised in the second half with a header of their own, and all seemed to be heading for a draw, but Boro's ten men (Aryan Taj having been sent off) claimed all the points, when Simeon Akinola, making his debut from the bench, latched onto an under-hit back-pass, and eventually found the net despite the fine efforts of the Police goalkeeper. Apologies for the squeaking in some of this video, which is not down to my camera, or my aging bones, but to the baby birds in the rafters of the grandstand.
