Evo-Stik Northern Premier League newcomers Tamworth have moved to bolster their squad with the signings of Tyrell Waite and former Norwich City under-23 skipper Owen Wallis.
Striker Waite signs after a successful trial period with the Lambs.
Waite's goal against Coventry City under-23s meant that he has now hit the target in three consecutive pre-season games, convincing Lambs hierarchy to make a contract offer.
Derby-based Waite first came to prominence at Ilkeston FC, where his form earned a move to Notts County.
He enjoyed several loan spells while at County, including one with Nuneaton Borough, before making a permanent move to Kidderminster Harriers.
Last season he joined Boston United in National League North.
Waite strengthens attacking options available to Harris and Fowler yet further, with Akwasi Asante, Aman Verma, Tristan Dunkley, Chris Lait, and Dexter Walters already at their disposal, as well as emerging players that featured against the Sky Blues in midweek such as Chandler Pegg, Junior Mpofu, and Kyle Hayden.
Centre-back Wallis was with the Canaries from the age of nine and made 17 appearances for City’s under-23s last season, scoring twice, after signing a professional deal last summer.
