Evo-Stik League South Premier club Biggleswade Town have announced the signings of Jack Bradshaw and Sam Donkin.

Bradshaw is a very versatile defender who brings a wealth of experience in to the new side.

He joins following a second spell with league rivals and neighbours St Neots Town.

A very hardworking player who is equally comfortable in a midfield, or defensive role, he joined St Neots from St Ives.

He had joined St Ives from local rivals Royston Town where he made almost 200 appearances during a seven-year spell with the Crows.

He started his career with Stevenage Borough and has also had a spell at Maidenhead United.

Assistant-manager Brett Donnelly told the club`s Pitchero website: “I am delighted to get Jack over the line in joining us next season, I have played against him many times and he is an exceptional defender.”

Meanwhile, Allinson continues to build his team with the announcement of Ian Brown as goalkeeper coach for the new season ahead.

Allinson added: “I’m delighted to have him come back to the club as goalkeeper coach, he returns as a legend and a he is a great lover of the Green army. his years of defending the sticks for the club will be of great benefit to the team going forward; We want everyone to be buzzing about Biggleswade Town FC for the new season and seasons to come”.
