Tuesday's South & West action review

The only game in the EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West on Tuesday night saw Evesham United move into third place after a 4-2 win against Bishops Cleeve at the Jubilee Stadium.

In front of a crowd of 335, Evesham came into the game protecting an eight-game unbeaten run in the league and were ahead after 33 minutes through Lewis Binns. Four minutes after half-time, Lance Smith doubled United`s lead and 10 minutes later he added his second and a third for the hosts.

Harlie Price reduced the deficit after 73 minutes but less than two minutes later, Jacob Sloggett restored Evesham`s three-goal cushion. Price notched his second in stoppage time to make the final score 4-2.
