Four other teams managed to join newly-promoted Hartley Wintney, who won on Monday night, in making it two wins from their opening games in the Evo-Stik League South East on Tuesday night.
AFC Rushden & Diamonds won 3-0 at another of the newly-promoted teams, Thame United, with goals from Nabil Shariff in the 7th and 49th minutes, sandwiched by a Liam Dolman effort on 14 minutes.
Marlow, Uxbridge and Ashford Town (Middx) are the other 100 per centers. With Marlow winning 3-1 at home to Hayes & Yeading United, thanks to an Allan Bossman double in the 31st and 57th minutes and a third from Charlie Samuel 10 minutes from time – David Pitt netting a stoppage time consolation for the visitors.
Uxbridge beat a Barton Rovers side who won last weekend, 1-0 at Sharpenhoe Road with a goal from Joe Wright right on half-time.
And Ashford inflicted a second successive defeat on Arlesey Town by the odd goal in five at home, thanks to Mark Bitmead, James Cottee and Dan Fleming goals before half-time.
Arlesey caused a bit of panic by pulling two back in stoppage time through Taylor Rhiney and Cade Stephens-Abbey.
There were first wins for Kempston Rovers, 1-0 at Hillgrounds against AFC Dunstable, courtesy of a Ben Shepherd goal after 56 minutes, Egham Town, who made it two successive defeats for Hanwell Town with Aaron Berry`s goal 5 minutes from time, for Cambridge City, who beat Aylesbury FC 2-1 with a first-minute Ian Miller effort and a 68th minute Tom Knowles goal cancelling out Jeanmal Prosper`s 2nd minute reply, and for Bedford Town, who inflicted a second defeat on Aylesbury United with Lee Roache, Bradley Woods-Garness and Ryan Auger scoring for the Eagles in the opening half and Jamie Jellis adding a consolation for the Ducks in stoppage time.
Three other teams recorded their first point of the new campaign as Fleet Town and Chalfont St Peter shared a 1-1 draw at Calthorpe Park with Kiye Martin cancelling out Callum Woodcock`s 9th minute opener 10 minutes from time, and Northwood joined them on one point after a 1-1 Chestnut Avenue draw with new boys Moneyfields, whose Lewis Fennemore looked to have won the game with a 63rd minute effort until Pat Adamson popped up with a leveller 3 minutes into time added on.
