Evo-Stik League South, East side Ashford Town (Middx) were beaten by former two-time winners Kingstonian. The Bostik League Premier outfit, opened the scoring in the 41st minute, thanks to header by Reece Grant.
K`s doubled their lead in the 61st minute when, after Alec Fiddes was fouled in the box, Tom Derry’s spot-kick was saved but the forward netted the rebound.
Kingstonian`s Mitchal Gough was given a straight red card for a lunging tackle on Dan Fleming in the 65th minute, but the hosts saw the game out to move into the next round where their opponents will be Bostik North Heybridge Swifts, with the game taking place on Sunday, 26th November.
Evo-Stik League South, West high-flyers Taunton Town are through after winning a penalty shoot-out 7-6 in their replay at Beaconsfield Town.
Dan Brown gave the hosts a 23rd minute lead with a point-blank finish following a good cross.
Matt Wright eventually netted an 84th minute equaliser for Taunton with a powerful header from a Les Afful cross.
And, after a goalless extra half-hour, Taunton triumphed in the penalty competition and are now home to Vanarama National League South outfit Concord Rangers in the next round on November 25th.
