Thorne Steps Down At Mangotsfield

Thorne was appointed as manager in September 2017.

He was Manager of Larkhall Athletic for almost six years and guided them to promotion from the Toolstation Western League in 2013/14 and in their first season at Southern League level, took them to the play-offs.

He left Larkhall in October 2016.

In his playing career, he was a tough-tackling defender who was on loan at Cossham Street from Chippenham Town, during the 2005/06 season and made eleven appearances and scored once.

He began his career at Swindon Town and had spells at Gloucester City, Clevedon Town and Weston-super-Mare before joining the Bluebirds.
