Thame United Defence Stick Together

By Jack Moore

Thame United have announced that the mainstay of their Uhlsport Hellenic League championship-winning defensive line-up have committed for the forthcoming season.

Goalkeeper Henry Craven, together with Calvin Evans, David Lynn, Matt Johnston and club captain Ellis Hercules have all re-signed for United.

All played an individual and collective part in securing the Hellenic Premier Division title last season and, together with the new additions to the squad, will hopefully set the platform for a successful season to come.

Newcomers to the Thame squad made by manager Mark West to date are keeper Eddie Cavanagh from Wantage Town, Harry Mepham from Beaconsfield SYCOB, Finlay Murray from Barnet and Liam Smyth from Newport Pagnell Town.
