Top scorer Jake Newman equalised just before half time, before Luke Heneghan scored a terrific winner two minutes into stoppage time.
Stoyles, “We won the tactical battle and prepared and planned for situations that arose through the game far better than Bedford.
“We also changed the game through making the right tactical positive changes at the right times.”
Rovers were playing in front of a crowd of 255 at Hillgrounds, their second highest of the season behind the fixture with AFC Rushden & Diamonds back in August.
“We were the dominant and positive side and should have scored three goals in the first half and four in second and killed the game off” Stoyles continued.
“We could have done better with our marking in our box and stopping the cross for their goal but overall a very good performance.
“We have earned the bragging rights in North Bedfordshire with this win, and we hope we can strive towards the playoff places in the remaining games”.
