Stourbridge invest in attack

Stourbridge have signed a striker who cost Wolverhampton Wanderers £200,000 as a 17-year-old in 2013.

The Glassboys have snapped up 22-year-old forward Bradley Reid from Tamworth.

This will be Reid`s second spell as a Glassboy as he did move to Amblecote on a month's loan in March. However, because of injury, he was limited to only one start.

Reid came through the youth ranks at Wrexham and his impressive showings at a young age earned him an expensive move to Wolves in September 2013.

However he couldn’t quite break into the first-team at the Molineux but did make an appearance in their Johnstone`s Paint Trophy campaign during the 2016/17 season.

He also spent time out on loan back at Wrexham twice as well as having two spells at AFC Telford United.

He scored 6 goals for the Lambs last season and the forward, who was capped by Wales at under-19 and under-21 level, will now be hoping for an injury-free run.
