St Ives Town Kit Finds A New Team

By Jack Moore

St Ives Town have donated their first team kit from a few seasons ago which is now proudly worn by Vides FC who are based in the Togolese capital of Lome.

The picture below is of St Ives Town Academy Manager, Jack Cassidy, with the parent of one of their academy players, Roland Anenou.

Roland regularly travels back to Togo and told Jack that he wanted to do something to support local health centres in Togo as well as the protection of street children, the promotion of rural women and also to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and various diseases.

Roland has arranged a football tournament to be held in Togo in October 2017 for several local teams to take part in with various prizes to be won with support from sponsors to raise money for worthwhile causes.

St Ives Town FC were delighted to donate one of our first team kits to be worn by the lads of Vides FC, a local town in Togo and wish them all the best for successful tournament.
