New Keeper

Evo-Stik Southern League South club Weymouth have signed former AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper Jordan Seabright.

Seabright, who also featured for Torquay United, Dagenham & Redbridge and Poole Town, has agreed terms with the Terras on a more permanent basis, having impressed in a handful of matches for Mark Molesley’s side last season.

Seabright, 24, made eight League appearances for the Daggers plus six for Torquay in the Vanarama National League but then announces he was `hanging up his gloves` in February 2015 to become a car salesman.

A statement on Weymouth`s official website said that new goalkeeping coach Robbie Yates had helped convince Seabright to join.

“Jordan played a few games last season and a change in circumstances now means the former Torquay United, Dagenham & Redbridge and AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper will be available full-time.

“Jordan has previously worked with new Terras’ goalkeeping coach Robbie Yates, who was a factor in Jordan coming to the club on a permanent basis”.
