Saturday's Premier Division Round-Up

By Jack Moore

There were just a handful of matches in the Evo-Stik League South Premier on Saturday due to the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Weymouth moved up to fourth in the table after a late 2-0 win over lowly Kings Langley at the Bob Lucas Stadium.

The Terras were looking to bounce back after consecutive defeats, but it wasn`t until the 85th minute that they were able to breakthrough with an own goal from Kings defender Sam Tring.

And then a minute into time added on, Weymouth`s new loan signing from AFC Bournemouth, Charlie Seaman, popped up to score a debut goal to confirm victory.

Tiverton Town are now sixth after a 1-0 Ladysmead victory over seventh-placed Redditch United.

Levi Landricombe scored the all-important goal in the 25th minute.

At the other end of the table, third-bottom St Ives Town, who went seven games without a league win, made it back-to-back victories with a crucial 2-1 success against second-bottom Dunstable Town.

James Hall gave the Saints a 19th minute lead that Peter Clark doubled 5 minutes later.

John Sonuga reduced the deficit a couple of minutes after the break, but the home side managed the rest of the game well enough to seal the points.

It`s five league games without a win now for Biggleswade Town as they went down 2-0 at the Camrose to Basingstoke Town in the day`s only other game.

Sam Smart after 11 minutes and Callum Bunting 7 minutes into the second half were the `Stoke scorers.
