Just three games in the Evo-Stik League South, East on Saturday, with Beaconsfield Town moving level on points with second-placed AFC Dunstable after recording a 3-1 Holloways Park win over mid-table Egham Town.
The home side took a 13th minute lead through Alex Cathline.
But the Sarnies were level on 34 minutes when an innocuous clearance fell to Brendan Matthew in space an he lobbed home from distance.
The home side were back in front, however, just before the interval, courtesy of Goldy Capela.
And it was Capela who netted the crucial third goal on 65 minutes.
Moneyfields missed the opportunity to pull level with Beaconsfield and AFC Dunstable after they were beaten 2-1 at Short Lane by a now ninth-placed Ashford Town (Middx).
It wasn`t until the hour-mark that the deadlock was broken, and it was the Ash Trees` James Cottee who scored it.
Six minutes later, Alex Fisher added a second for the hosts, rendering Ryan Pennery`s 89th minute reply as just a consolation for Moneys.
The day`s other game saw Marlow and Uxbridge share a 1-1 draw at the Alfred Davis Memorial Ground.
Isaac Osei-Tutu gave the home side a 39th minute lead they held until 13 minutes from time when Dylan Kearney equalised for the Reds.
