Salisbury turnout disappoints Claridge

Salisbury's Boss speaks out.

We all need bigger crowds..

Reported from Salisbury Journal

Salisbury FC boss Steve Claridge is frustrated that only 455 supporters came out to watch his side score eight past Cirencester Town.

The Whites had an attendance of 995 for the defeat against Poole Town in the FA Cup second qualifying round on Saturday. Meaning that 540 people did not come back to the Ray Mac for the rout against the Gloucestershire side on Tuesday night.

With the Whites boss saying: "I am really disappointed with the crowd.

"If all it takes is one bad result for people not to turn up, then it's a pretty poor show."

But added: "To everyone tonight that showed up (against Cirencester) they were fantastic and we really appreciate their backing.

"I don't really know what people are looking for and they have missed out, because it's the best £9 anyone will ever spend."
