Cambridge City Statement
Ryan Sharman has signed a contract with Cambridge City. The move comes as Sharman continues to be the leading scorer in the East Division having found the net on 21 occasions this season.
Sharman who signed for the Lilywhites from Soham in December 2016 was delighted to have been offered a contract. He said "I am very pleased to have been offered a contract with this great club. I have been in excellent form this season and hopefully I will be able to increase my goals tally that will ultimately lead to promotion".
City boss Robbie Nightingale said "This is a reward for the fantastic form that Ryan has been in so far this season. I am obviously very pleased to offer him a contract and look forward to him continuing with his great form for the remainder of the campaign".
Elsewhere, Nightingale has boosted his squad by adding midfielder Ryan Ware. The 25 year old joins City after a spell in the USA where he most recently played for AFC Cleveland Royals. Prior to going to the States he played at youth level for Wycombe Wanderers.
The club can also confirm that youngster Harvey Bullin has signed paperwork for the first team. The 17 year old midfielder has impressed in the development team this year, and has done enough to now come into first team contention.
