Jordan Richards has left Evo-Stik Northern Premier League club Gainsborough Trinity and joined Evo-Stik Southern League Central side King`s Lynn Town for an undisclosed fee.
The young midfielder, who had been offered terms by relegated Trinity for the new season, has opted to pursue his career away from the Martin & Co Arena.
Following his arrival at Gainsborough, Richards went on to make 39 appearances for the Blues in league and cup competitions.
Naturally a midfielder, he also served the club well, playing when asked at full-back.
Richards joined the club from Notts County, from where he was released in the summer of 2017.
The son of former Magpies’ legend Pedro Richards, whilst on County`s books he had loan spells with Boston United and Irish side Sligo Rovers.
Towards the end of the season, he found opportunities limited as Shane Clarke and Liam King struck up a strong partnership in the centre of the park.
