Randall The Hero As Ten-Man Barum Hold On

Wednesday`s only game in the Evo-Stik League South West was a relegation `six-pointer` at Thornhill Park between third-bottom Slimbridge and second-bottom Barnstaple Town.

It was the Swans who took the lead on the half-hour mark through Edi Mbunga.

The second half saw Barum reduced to ten-men when keeper Aaron Screech was sent-off for denying a goalscoring opportunity.

But the delay seemed to affect Adam Mace, as he saw his effort saved by Randall.

That gave the ten-man visitors a boost and on 79 minutes, Billy Hopcroft equalised.

Slimbridge restored their lead though just 5 minutes later through Korey Pring.

However, the sides remain two points apart in the table when Nathan Cooper popped up with Barnstaple`s equaliser 4 minutes into stoppage time.
