Plenty Of Comings & Goings At Farnborough

In and Out

Spencer Day, manager of Evo-Stik League South Premier club Farnborough, has revealed some more ins and outs at the Rushmoor Community Stadium.

Day told his club`s official website: “I’m delighted to announce that, firstly the club has agreed terms with Perry Coles to secure his services until the end of next season.

“Perry came from Step 5 and has continually stated he wants to play for his local side Boro and he has developed into a quality Step 3 player who continues to improve.

“With players such our skipper CJ Fearn – who will be offered renewal terms and being under 24 – as well as a number of exciting prospects, I am confident that we continue to put out a quality side yet manage the club`s financials in the proper manner. The exposure to regular first-team football for players such as Jack Barton and Aiden Upward as well as bringing through academy players is the positive and only way to go.

“I am also delighted to announce the signing of Andrew Sealey-Harris from Wolves for the rest of the season.

“Andrew is a first-year pro and an exciting winger or striker who has certainly made his introduction to the players known!

“The draw of quality players to Boro certainly is still strong and like other loan signings, we are discussing with parent clubs the probability of keeping the loan players for next season if all parties are happy, rather than just a number of short-term loans.

“With the positive progression of Aiden Upward, greatly supported by our goalkeeper coach Keith Benjamin, I couldn’t guarantee Pat O’Flaherty, our loanee from AFC Bournmouth, game time so we have agreed to terminate that agreement. I’m in the market for a second keeper and am in negotiations with another Championship club to secure one of their younger keepers to give Aiden cover and competition whilst good experience for the loanee.

“The one downside to using a number of released League players is that we won’t be able to consider Ambrose Ghanore for the near future at least. Ambrose is going on numerous League club trials and we wish him the best as he tries to get back into full-time football but I have left the door open for him should he make himself available again for Boro”.
