Barnstaple Town FC Manager Resigns

The following statement was issued on the Clubs official website earlier on today.

"It is with sadness that Richard Pears has offered his resignation as the Manager of Barnstaple Town Football Club and I have accepted it. Richard so wanted the team to do well under his leadership but feels that it is not happening. He is stepping down to make way for some-one else to bring the side together to make all of the supporters proud on their team again. He wishes all of us success in the future.

I would like to thank Richard for the tremendous hard work he did on behalf of the Club. He made great efforts trying to bring a virtually new side together and win games for us.

I will be earnestly looking for new manager and hope the players will stay loyal to the Club in the meantime.

I will keep you all informed of any developments."
