No Flood barrier at Redditch !

By David Simpson

Hard work brings reward

Slough Town responded to the disappointment of Saturday’s defeat at St Neots with an emphatic away win at second-placed Redditch United on Tuesday evening, which lifts the Rebels into third spot.
Re-organised team owing to injury came from behind to earn a well deserved 3pts away from home.
Chris Flood picked up a brace to settle the nerves as Redditch plied on the pressure, with goals by Manny Williams and Warren Harris making the score 4-1
This gave Rebels joint managers the unexpected chance to make changes and freshen things up ahead of Saturday’s big FA Cup tie against Poole Town , with Gavin James, Matt Lench and Nathan Webb all getting vital match minutes.
