Created in time for pre-season and launched today, the EVO-STIK League Southern's 68 clubs and their thousands of fans now have a new online home where they can find all the latest news, fixtures, results, tables and statistics in one place as well as sharing images and video footage from around the league.
With the EVO-STIK Northern Premier League and Ryman League already members of football's biggest and fastest growing online community, the EVO-STIK League Southern's newly elected chairman Terry Barratt is looking forward to Pitchero putting one the country's oldest and proudest leagues at the heart of the Non-League game over the upcoming 2016-17 season.
The EVO-STIK League Southern chairman said: “We’re absolutely delighted with this tie-up with Pitchero. Their platform is right at the cutting edge and the work they do around the leagues to improve semi-professional football and take the game forward is second to none.
“Our new website is responsive and has online administration of player registrations and team sheets, saving valuable time and making information more visible to club administrators. Fellow leagues such as the EVO-STIK NPL and Ryman League have seen their website traffic and social media numbers increase dramatically since teaming up with Pitchero and we hope to reach a much wider audience too.”
He added: “The Southern League will become part of the ever-growing Non-League Pitchero ecosystem. A lot of the league’s clubs already use Pitchero so we will now be able to match data feeds directly from the league website to club websites. In return, match reports and photos will feed straight to the league website, so there are real benefits across the board for the league and all our clubs.”
Pitchero’s CEO Mark Fletcher is looking forward to strengthening their already deep association with the Non-League football. He believes their latest digital platform will entertain and inform fans, players and officials as well as playing a central role in showcasing the EVO-STIK League Southern and helping the competition to prosper commercially.
“We’re very excited to be partnering with EVO-STIK League Southern in time for the new season," he said. "Pitchero are proud of the ongoing role it plays in Non-League football and teaming up with a league as significant and important as the EVO-STIK League Southern allows us to continue in that role and develop even further.”
