New secretary and scribe needed

Winchester City are hoping to fill two key off-field roles at the EVO-STIK League Southern's Citizens.

Officials at The City Ground announced on Thursday that they were looking to recruit a new secretary and an online programme editor as soon as possible.

Potential candidates for the posts at the EVO-STIK League Southern Division One South & West club should contact contact Winchester City's football secretary Martin Moody for more information at secretary.wfc@gmail.com.

Founded 1891 as Winchester Swallows FC, the Citizens are also urging their fans to spread the word about their online crowdfunding campaign to save the burger bar at their home.

At least £2,200 is needed for repairs after the roof of the Hampshire club's Dugout Burger Bar Cafe collapsed and grateful organisers say generous supporters have already raised nearly £600.
