Mulligan signs for local rivals

Corby Town sign Mulligan from neighbours Kettering.

Corby Town have signed Gary Mulligan from Southern League Central neighbours Kettering Town.

Mulligan made over 100 League appearances for the likes of professional clubs Gillingham and Northampton as he came through the ranks at now Premier League club Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The centre-back links up with former Brackley Town team-mate Elliot Sandy who signed earlier in the season.

Corby manager Steve Kinniburgh, who worked with Mulligan at Kettering, told the club`s website: “I’m delighted to get him on board. He will add vast experience to the squad and he will also be the club captain next season”.
