Midfielder leaves Slimbridge

Henry Birkett is looking for a new club after leaving Southern League Division One West Slimbridge.

The former Gloucester City and Worcester City youth team player made his final appearance for the Swans in Saturday's 5-3 home defeat by Evesham United.

"Stepping up to the Southern League has been a challenge, but I feel I have done well.

A roofer by trade, the 19-year-old has also played for Tuffley Rovers, Hardwicke and Quedgeley Wanderers.
