The Reds could move up to 13th with a win at Holloways Park.
Tim Harris and his side travel to Berkshire to face play-off hopefuls Slough Town, in the Evo-Stik Southern League on Tuesday night.
Redditch United go into the game off the back of a hard-fought draw at home to Hitchin Town at the weekend with the match finishing 2-2. Despite going down to ten men after Jordan Mills was sent off, a goal from Stuart Fleetwood looked to have sealed the points for The Reds, however, Hitchin found an equalisier to claim a point in the 85th minute.
The result, leaves The Reds in 15th place and unbeaten in their last four home league matches, whilst Slough are currently two points off the play-off places with seven matches in hand after losing 3-0 to Tiverton Town on Saturday.
Even though results have not gone their way, Redditch have continued to put in good performances and First Team Manager, Tim Harris, is confident the side can get back to winning ways.
He said: “Last Saturday just about summed up where we are at present. A good first-half, two setbacks with a penalty harshly going against us and the dismissal of promising youngster, Jordan Mills on his debut from Derby County. Then to go in front with ten men and concede in the last five minutes shows we are not mentally strong enough to see games out.
“Once again, the commitment shown just simply can’t be faulted, though we do need some more experience and competition in the squad.”
