Current Evo-Stik League South Premier leaders King`s Lynn Town have signed Cameron King.

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder was involved with Norwich City from the age of 8, and joined the Canaries as an academy scholar in the summer of 2012.

He was involved in the Canaries FA Youth Cup winning campaign playing in the semi-final and final matches and made thirteen appearances for the under-18s in 2012/13 season.

He signed a two-year professional contract with Norwich in May 2014 making his first-team debut as substitute in the 1-0 Capital One Cup defeat to Shrewsbury later that year.

Having been part of Scotland’s under-18 squad he was called up for the under-21s.

King was released by Norwich in June 2016 having suffered from migraines while playing.

Following medical advice, he was able to return to football, signing for Thurlow Nunn League side Thetford Town in August 2016 for who he scored 16 goals from forty-five appearances.

He joined Irish outfit Shamrock Rovers on a one-year contract in August 2017 making ten appearances.
