Langdown: ‘We will keep going!’

Not good enough!

Louis Langdown gives us his thoughts on yesterdays game at Bideford

You and the players must feel deflated after losing 2-1 today away at Bideford Louis, it was a game that for large periods you were comfortable in.

Louis; yes of course mate, no one likes to lose and certainly not away at a play off rival to the odd goal. Like you say we came in at half time and felt very comfortable and got our rewards with a goal from Charlie you would happily watch over and over again. We cut them open we a fine team move and we spoke at half time about what to expect from Bideford and today we were not good enough to get the result.

Bideford play very direct and it’s certainly effective, it looked at though the injury to Jack contributed to the their first goal

Yes it did, Jack’s had an issue with his groin, but was moving well and coping with it in the first half but perhaps the break in play affected it. He was winning the race for the ball over the top but pulled up and their lad has overtaken him cut back onto his right and found the top corner, it was a wonderful strike. It was a case of bad luck and some finish. From there Bideford attacked far more and scored their 2nd goal, the disappointing thing is their attack started from our loose play.
