Evo-Stik League South East leaders Moneyfields have increased their goal threat considerably by signing prolific marksman Jamie White from former Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier rivals Blackfield & Langley.
Southampton-born White was the Saints’ academy player of the season in 2006/07 and made three first-team appearances before moving to Eastleigh in 2009.
The 28-year-old then had a remarkable spell at Winchester City, scoring 51 goals in thirty-two games to finish just one goal shy of the Wessex League scoring record.
That brought him to the attention of Salisbury City and after his two seasons at the club, he joined former Whites manager Darrell Clarke at Bristol Rovers.
It proved a brief spell, however, and he moved on to have spells with Sutton United, Gosport Borough and Farnborough before joining the `new` Salisbury club towards the end of the 2015/16 season.
